Is it one of your plans to travel this year to a great location like the United Kingdom? Are you getting excited for your weekend abroad? Well, before you get psyched for your trip, you need to prepare yourself in order to make the most of this leisurely pursuit. Take a peek at my own list of “work-to-dos”.
When I decided to take the big leap, I can hardly wait! But there is so much planning to do and things to accomplish. For one, checking out my calendar of events was a top priority. Working in a big company really helps since I can just take my leave without having to convince someone to take over my job. With all the people in my office, surely, my absence is not a problem at all. However, there are several items there that needed much attending to: clients to visit, interviews and so on. What I did was to reorganise it, and voila! I got myself a week off! Believe me, it wasn’t that easy. But somehow, the gods were there to help me.
And so I found myself visiting travel websites, looking for the best holiday packages that could fit my travel budget. Not to mention the most promising destination that I should choose to fully enjoy my trip. I also made sure that I got to live in an excellent hotel, full of amenities. That is why, now, I am here basking under the heat of sun, typing my every experience so that you, fellow traveller, will get to see what I have seen and enjoy up to the last minute of your grand vacation.
Oh, did I mention that I am in London? Yes! It has been three days since I boarded that plane that took me to the airport, and two days since I tasted champagne inside my very own luxurious hotel room. Truly, this is what I have been dreaming of. The sight from my window is breathtaking. At night, I can still feel that the city is still alive and jolly just listening to the hustle and bustle of the life outside. Sometimes, I visit one of them bars that stood in the heart of Haymarket Street just off Piccadilly Circus, drinking to my heart’s content and meeting a lot of acquaintances. Definitely, this journey is so far the best I have ever been to, and that is because I took the time to plan before I started my route. I can only say that this is one hell of a leap that I have taken since I was in college. But that was the time when museums and parks were the first in our itineraries. So be it.
I hope that you find this post a helpful one for your pleasurable endeavour abroad. Like I said, it only needs planning and a bit of patience to truly experience the best in your travel. Of course, having a wad of loot would make a big difference!
