I want to sell my timeshare in Las Vegas, but do I stand a chance in this economy?
With its bright lights, promise of easy money (seldom delivered), and revered stage-shows, Las Vegas has been a vacation goers’ Mecca for decades. Through all manner of hard times and near-recessions, Sin City has survived every blow in order to provide daring vacationers a place to live in the lap of luxury – or at least sit on the lap for a brief moment. It should come as no surprise, then, that timeshares in Las Vegas are still attracting buyers across the world over.
I would hazard a guess to say that there are very few places that offer the same experience that Las Vegas does. Sure, you’ve got Atlantic City and Reno… but they really don’t even compare. Men and women from every corner of the globe spend the money to visit Las Vegas – some annually, in fact. Owning a rental property would provide them with the opportunity to save some money on their trips, or at least take care of the matter of where they are going to be staying while visiting.
The biggest draw for most pilgrims to Las Vegas is its collection of world-renowned casinos. Caesar’s Palace, Circus Circus, and the Bellagio (just to name a few) are some of the most recognizable buildings at home and abroad. They’re what you think of when Las Vegas comes to mind. However, part of why Las Vegas has lasted through such turbulent times is its ability to adapt to appeal to larger crowds.
While it’s true that Vegas is still owned by the gamblers (or paid for by them, any way), it has become increasingly family friendly in recent years. With smoking bans in most of the city’s restaurants families can enjoy meals out on the town again. Shopping malls – while not new to Vegas, but have increased in number – provide plenty of all-ages fun. Last but not least the stage-shows are critical entertainment for family outings, and are experiences that every person of any age should be allowed.
